Landscapes inspired by Monet

The kids learned they can use their paintbrushes as a tool itself to create marks- the pure aim of the great IMPRESSIONISTS, including Van Gogh, Manet, Degas and Monet, amongst others. Founded in France in the 1900s this group, who called themselves "Wild Beasts" set off on a mission to give an impression of the subject they desired to picture using lots of radiant colour, which contrasts against the high detail of the Baroque style.
