Crafts #3 : Nativity Cribs, stage 1
The children had a go at designing and sketching their crib- any bridges, caves, well, gates, etc.
Then the fun part started off: We tore thick paper (xkejjer tal-ġwież) and immersed them in a bucketful of PVA glue diluted in water....after removing the excess liquid, we created the caves and rocky ground for our crib. We used milk cartons to hold them up while the glue dries and hardens the paper....
Next week we'll be making the cutest ever Nativity figures (pasturi) from recycled material!

Crafts lesson #2 Autumn Wreath
Look what we can make by bringing together lots of stuff: Autumn-coloured corrugated cardboard, paper, card, raffia, scraps of fabric, coloured net and kite paper!
Brushing observational skills and proportion
These skills were promoted through fun themes, including different animals, Disney characters, heroes, cars and ships through various media.
